Just curious because i HAVE to get rid of this ungodly squeeling im getting from the car, its getting rediculous.

I know of the rjc's, but thats about it. Just curious if there are any other options out there.

TIA
Cody

A squealing sound usually means you have the wrong belt, or the bearings your alternator or tensioner are shot.

i have a brand new gatorback on the car and im positive its the right belt, it was perfect for awhile, the pulleys are just junk ( got them with my conversion, and had to get the car running) i can maybe check the bearings in the alt and tensioner, but if thats the case i might as well just replace them.

I believe it's the same bearing in both the alternator and the tensioner. Or, maybe your tensioner is shot or your water pump is shot. Put a screwdriver on the pump and tensioner and hold it to your ear.

ill try that in the morning and see what i come up with. I had the waterpump thought also, but wasnt sure.... hopefully it is just sumthing small....
