wire color for fuel sender

come on guys im dieing here please can anyone tell me what color the fuel sender wire is on the back of the dash of an 87 GN non digital dash the standard dash i belive the wire colors are blk=grnd pink with black strip=12volts and heres were im screwed pink=fuel sender
please any help would be nice

Yes the sender is the pink wire.
