HELP! Just replaced the cam sensor. Followed gnttype... Prior to removal she started fine but the sensor was noisy. The 1.45" tape on the balancer goes aprox. 1.5" to the right (as your facing the engine) of the timing mark, right? I had no trouble getting everything in line. In fact all lined up very close to the same as the one removed. Now it won't start and I am sad..

NOOO IT GOES LEFT BUD left 1.45 inches, hate to tell ya that but tear apart, believe me Saturday it took me 3 times of messin with that crap to get it right

won't start

... but it does _art, that is back fire. Sooo tape 1.45" to the left ( <tape< | pass side direction) of the timing mark??!! Big difference. I'll redo tomorrow. As an X office equipment tech I know check your work or clairify the directions... This will be my third pass... like a charm. If it doesn't work I'll be back, otherwise THANK YOU! :D

I took off the driver side valve cover too just to make sure i get it on the compression stroke. and yes to the left is where u want it. GOOD LUCK!
