Went to start the GN today after it's been sitting in the garage for about a week, it ran fine when I parked it last weekend. Wanted to pull it onto ramps so I can swap the torque convertor out so that the "race" one is finally out of the car.
Was a little hard starting and ran rough for the first couple of minutes which isn't unusual as the chip is the 100% stock one (I have a new Eric Marshall chip matched to the injectors and new torque convertor), but today it died after running (at idle) for about 5 minutes and won't stay running when I try to restart it now.
If I can restart it, it'll catch, run nice & smooth at about 1500-1800 rpm then die right out. I swapped the MAF with a known good one, identical results. I also replaced the IAC, identical results. Checked all the spark plug wires, everything fine, nothing touching anywhere. If I can keep it running, it's almost as if it is running way rich and misfiring through the intake a little, then it stumbles and dies out. Would a failed stock "237" style FPR cause this?
Suggestions?
