WOT knock

got to tune my car a little finally since i picked up an OTC 2000. Buyt iam getting knock at WOT 5-6 deg. And my o2's were at like .830mv. Should i turn the fp down?
 
What are good O2 numbers for your scan tool?

Why would you want to turn the FP down (i.e. lean the car out) if you have KR?

Boost?

Timing?

Octane?
 
i think it might be running really rich as i can smell it after a short sprint but i guess that really makes no diffrence.
As far as the chip iam not sure what in there i will ahve to check it.
I will turn it up abit and see what that does.
 
ok turned up the FP up a bit and now no knock:)
I though it might be rich b/c my o2's seemed high and everyone seems to run a little under 800 at WOT. What are some good #'s to shoot for?My scan tool is just like a scanmaster eagle.Iam Still new to tuning GN's.

Hrmm, how much boost is it ? Ive heard o2 readings in the 815+/- rage is what you wanted, my Tlink instructions call for 750 so its different all over the place.

Butthen again, you can have 10 of these cars all lined up and tuning will be all different on all of them.

Now that you have your tool, its best to play and learn your car. Even better if you have a track near by.
