I bought a pair of Comp. Eng. drag shocks (front)adj. a while back and am wondering if there is a down side to running these on the street. vs. reg. gas shocks up front. Also, will I see any improvement at all (track) in my 60's? w/o them I have done 1.64's. Thanks, Dave. Just mainly want to know if I should just leave them on the shelf.

I'm sure it might help your 60ft. due to better weight transfer, as for the street, they are not recommended. I would think that it would make your car handle really bad especially at highway speeds (like a boat)

I've got Comp Eng adj. drag shocks which did help my 60 fts and I run on the street...also run without a front sway bar...I don't change lanes too fast or take tight curves at high speeds but it actually handles pretty well...I think my car being lowered helps...for a mostly street driven car probably wouldn't use drag shocks...
