Bakersfield June 15th Friday night T&T..

The heat is on...I have a few bodies in mind to trade shifts with. I may be a little tired but I have to be there. Hell I will even use more of that vacation time I have in the bank..:biggrin: .

I road tested the car last night. All went really well. I found a few straight long roads that I could do a 3rd gear pull. 0 KR and o2's were at 796ish, boost was 23 lbs...more than I want to be...but, things looked good. Just to be safe I am going to back it off just a touch...after all I have to drive the car home ;)

Nice to hear from you. I hope all is going well. I remembered when you went up to Pomona to run early in the morning and they threw you off the track after your first pass for not having a roll bar. I was at Carlsbad that same day and they would run in the afternoon. Well you showed up from Pomona unloaded your car, made one pass and they kicked you off that track. Fun days!

Bob with the TT GN is coming with his street car.. it went mid 10's at Fontana a couple months ago.. so that makes 10 GN for this Friday :)
 
People that dont want to race should just drive their cars. That would look cool if there was a huge line of GN's on the 5 north.
 
Hmm, sounds like some fun, are any of ya going to caravan together? There is an In and Out right off the 99 just south of Bakes, at Panama I think. I'll check back later this week. I've got the "Slowest" GN in the bunch, but sure sounds like fun to go watch. Ron from Tehachapi
 
we stopped there last time... isn't it about 25 miles away from the track?? if so, i think we will stop there again to eat before hitting the track.. do you want to meet up with us there??

RIGHT.. like stated above, he can use my 9.99 time slip after this night.. i won't tell anyone.. i hope he brings his tools so that he can re-torque his heads :)

i'm looking for 9.70 or better.. hope these help me get my 1.45's 60fts

I'm off friday all day going to dyno my car tuesday 6-12-07 at 10:30am in mission viejo ca cant wait its going to be FUN to hang out in bakersfield with buick guys.
