Cant find adjustable wastegates for HA cars...

Evilbay I like that...I always called it feebay. I've been keeping a lookout there too...sort of...I get distracted pretty easy lol. I'm going to do my fuel pump, WG, hotwire, FPR, and brakes all at once, so I have time to scratch around for good deals. Thanks. Oh yeah, thank you Brad...

Cant find adjustable wastegates for HA cars...

Thanks Brad, I had thought about doing that actually. I'm looking toward Kirban's or Full Throttle for the actuator. Maybe if they're feeling generous they'll give me a package price because Im looking to get my hotwire and fpr too.:D

Cant find adjustable wastegates for HA cars...

I've been trying to find a wastegate for my '85 and all Im coming up with are ones for 86-87's. From what I can tell there is a difference in the mounting bolt holes between the two. Is there an adapter piece of some sort to use the IC style wastegates on HA cars? The stocker on mine is leaking...

Anybody know of any TR clubs in Ky?

Oct 19-22? I'll be there...hopefully with my TR. Im getting ready to do the fuel system, brakes and paint. The fuel is subpar, brake lines rusted, and looks just plain nasty  How quick do the rooms book up for that...any idea? I live an hour from BG but if its a 3 day thing...Im staying...

    Running rich

The header cracks could be causing a part of your problem. If exhaust escapes before the O2 sensor then it'll be read as being leaner than what it really is and the ECM will make adjustments. Also if the O2 sensor is shot that can cause it to run rich. Im still learning about TR's myself, but...

    Running rich

Have you checked the voltage on the TPS? Also, do you have any bad exhaust leaks before the O2 sensor? www.gnttype.org/techarea/maintenance/TPS.htm Its also a slim possibility that the fuel pressure regulator could be bad...very slim chance though. In my time selling parts and working on...

Anybody know of any TR clubs in Ky?

Really? Thats cool. Ive seen a blue T-type running around the bypass in E-town a few times. I live about 15mis from Etown, halfway between Sonora and White Mills. It'd be cool to get in touch with a few TR owners around here. Thanks.

Anybody know of any TR clubs in Ky?

I've been searching for a TR club in Ky either in the Louisville or Elizabethtown area. I live in Sonora which is closer to E-town (actually 1/2 way between Louisville and BG, but Louisville is OK too.) We're just looking for ppl to meet up with for an occasional pizza and BS night. Ive tried...

Using inline FP...what lph is needed?

255lph? And Im about 163? Yep, Id say thats a big part of my problem...or atleast a good starting point. Looks like its fuel pump upgrade time. Im sure she'll understand lol

Using inline FP...what lph is needed?

I think the tech guy at Summit fed me some bad info. I bought an inline fuel pump that he assured me would "easily and reliably support 500hp on a fuel injected engine." The pump has a max psi of 60...ok I think Buuuut its flow is 43gph which if I did my math correctly equals out to roughly...
