Get your car up on jack stands and put it in neutral. Have A buddy spin the tires by hand and adjust your back brakes until they just start to drag on the drums.
take it for a test drive, you may have to do this a few times until you get them adjusted to suit your driving needs.
Yes, you are right on the O.D. of the VS-677 spring. It should be 1.172". Hope that helps to clarify the earlier typo.

Bought my T in'87. Powermaster went south last spring , prior to that I replaced the accumulator about 6 years ago. The dealer replaced the pressure switch in a recall while it was still under warranty. I switched over to vac brakes with satisfactory results
