Hello, I am Daniel's dad. I bought this car from the original owner in1995 and it has been in the family the last 22 years. The car has never been out of the 12's in the quarter mi, just a street car- the engine sounds quiet and no smoke. Car has been well maintained.

Eric , will Direct Scan work using a USB to Parallel port adapter , if so I could get a new file for you to look at. All my files are on a old Windows 98 laptop, the only thing working is the hard drive, so I can't transfer the files. My son, Robert Wilson has used this laptop to tune 3-4 cars...

O2 looks fine at idle. The car will go closed loop as soon is it moves off idle but if you go wot it will go back to open loop and stay there until 50 mph the closed loop and back and forth with open loop.

The o2 run between 750 -800 at wot. The o2 will drop one low frame in direct scan ever now and then---- you have a flat 780-790 then one frame at 650 the back to 780. Frame rate is 18.2 frames per second.

The ECM has an input for a map sensor add to run max effort - r, would that cause a problem. I have a new Denso o2 sensor in the car. I will try to get the files from my old laptop.

Eric, I purchased a v5.7 chip from you in 2012. The chip stays in open loop, only goes closed for a few seconds. Is this an ECM or chip failure. I have looked through my direct scan files from the last 2 years and the chip as always stay in open loop. My order # for the chip was 8233. Thanks

Thanks, Bob and Eric for the info. I have another question-- the chip was still set as in post, 6 in BLM 10, I reset to 4 in blm 10 and car would start but would not take throttle. I reset ECM then reprogramed blm 10 to 4 car is fine. So does the Ecm need to be cleared before making a program...

I have a Extender Extreme chip for 60 lb injectors with 23 degrees timing in 1st and second and 21 in 3th. On my Direct Scan it shows 23.2 in 1 and 2 then drops to 21.1 in third. I set Blm cell 10 to 6 which is 0 degreees extra in the first two gears WOT --which should take timing back to the...

Try a PureOne part number L30005 the same size as the B9 but easier to locate and cheaper. It has the correct thread (13/16) and the check valve. This filter was for a 1959 Buick V8 and 60's V6 Jeeps' Work great with the biggie adaptor. Fram P/n PH11
