The replacement o-ring came in the mail today and I was able to tackle the job right away. I think the adapter bolt was a bit loose, but this is what the old o-ring looked like:

I got a pretty significant oil leak after a routine oil change today. Luckily this happened in the garage and not on the road :poop: I looked around and it seems the likely source is the O-ring that goes behind the oil filter housing. I've never taken one of these off and don't want to break...

Very fine steel wool won't affect the metal spokes. Don't use it on leather though :eek:

You're probably right. The stock Corvette wheels are 17/18 staggered so 17s would be safe.

For sale I have a package of C5 Corvette brake parts including 4 new slotted rotors, 4 powdercoated and rebuilt calipers, new braided stainless lines, and new front and rear Hawk HPS pads. I know some guys have done this upgrade to the GN. Calipers $500 shipped Rotors $450 shipped Front & Rear...

Thanks guys, I still have the rubber pieces (although they are in poor condition) though so I was hoping to score one of the black aluminum kits.

Since these appear to be out of stock everywhere for the foreseeable future, does anyone have an aluminum radiator box-in kit available for my GN? I figure maybe someone who moved to a front mount setup would have the kit lying around the garage.

Front bumper shims - looks like they are part #10001035 but I can't find them in the GM parts catalog anymore. If anybody has some pulled off a parts car let me know.

I was just thinking, he's going to blow grass all over your GN. 303 is a great product, I use it all the time in the interiors because it protects with just a minimal amount of shine to it. For the tires, I like a little more gloss and Adam's VRT is my favorite. Great for all rubber / plastic...
