3.5 LT1 vs LS1 MAF

How come the 3.5 LT1 MAF wont work w/ translator? Isnt the LS1 3.5" also? Do they flow much different, or why cant you use the settings for a LS1 MAF?

I believe you can use the 3.5 LT1

Are you sure about that? I had read that you could not. I have one, and if you can use one, I may get the MAF translator, and extender chip, but if not, I dont know what I will do.

3.5" LT1 MAF

I pulled the 3.5" MAF off my 97 WS6 LT1 and put it on my Buick w/ translator. Works great. Been on there for 3 or 4 years....no problems. I thought I had a MAF problem on the LT1, turned out to be other, so I had an extra. LT1 3.5" WILL work.

Awsome. Do you use the same setting as for an LS1 sensor?

Yeah, I just treat it as a 3.5" LS1 on the Translator settings. I've tried dialing it as a 3" LT1, but it didn't idle well.
