LOL, I did something like that where I worked once. I held a raffle for $6, only 3 tickets at $3 each. Hey, it was pretty good odds, the winner doubled their money, and gave me a couple bucks for lunch.

a $20 home depot gift certificate cost $20. I think thats what he is trying to do. just sell gift certificates. Why he would put them as an auctioin is beyond me, I'm sure he'll have to pay fees. Most normal people would just list "gift certificates available" under their auctions.
