86 LeSabre GN value

Guys i ran across a person who,s father has an 86 GN LeSabre with 16,000 miles.He's asking $15,000.

Seriously, as far as I know there is absolutly nothing special about those cars other than the name. There may be some specific trim options but nothing in the way of drive train.

I would say way overpriced-i would never pay more than $5000. for it and i like them and also have a fwd spare rebuilt motor and trans for one.rather have a turbo T or reg GN.

Other than that they made only 117 of them, I agree, nothing special. One was just on ebay this week with a $4k Buy it Now and it didn't sell for that or the reserve. I think the high bid only went to $2k or so...

Yeh i didnt think it was worth anything, but i didnt know much about them.......
