I am not that familiar with GNs as it relates to the aftermarket gadgets. I assume the laptop monitors the engine to be sure it is properly tuned. Can you change the air/fuel ratio and timing with the laptop? Does this do the same as a scanmaster? Can the laptop and stand be completely removed for a passenger? What does the TCC and Jump button do? Does the gadget (above the radio to the left) that has "Pump Speed" on it change the boost? Why do you need to monitor the exhaust tempature? Do you have to 'tweak' the tune often? Sorry for all the questions but I have always liked the GN since they came out in '87 and have been tossing around the idea of buying one to fill the last space in my garage.

No deliveries.. Transport will be entirely up to the purchaser.. You can buy a plane ticket, and drive it home.. It will be the best ride of your life..

Ok, I understand you don't want to take the time. I can figure out some of the answers to my questions. If I jump into purchasing a GN...the main question I have is...Is it a hassle keeping these cars properly tuned? Or is it just a hassle if you are always adjusting the boost which means you have to adjust the AF ratio, timing, alcohol injection, etc. If you don't feel like educating me, can you or someone point me to something that will. Thanks for your time.

I am sure that if you post your queries on the Lounge, or tech section, that you will get responses. A search might also prove productive.

Keeping a turbo car at low boost will allow for a wider range for error on the tune. As long as your not trying to kill the car with high boost, and not looking for peak performance from the car, low boost with base settings the car is going to be very user friendly..

The car is again availible (Buyer MIA)...

Someone asked if the labtop stand is removable, yes it is...
