99 PA Ultra?

Can anyone tell me the difference in the motors between gs and ultra.Nowhere on the car does it say to use high test gas so what is the reccomended octane.Any "free" performance tricks like cold air or exhaust etc.

If your car is supercharged, then 92 is the lowest you want to go.

mine says "premium uleaded only" on the gas door

motors are identical...the motor/trans mounts and some things on the accessory belts are different

there aren't exactly any free mods, but there are some very cheap things to do to make them a lot quicker. A good list of starting mods would be a 180* thermo, autolite 104 plugs (or similar), homemade CAI, 3" downpipe, and a 3.4" supercharger pulley. I'm not sure if those things have the restrictive u-bend in the exhaust pipe where the rear o2 sensor goes, but if it does, definately have it removed first thing. oh, and buy a scantool or knock gauge to make sure you aren't getting any KR.
