i remember people saying they made their scanmaster "plug an play" or "swapable" between cars by splicing a cig lighter adapter on the power and whatever else but i when i installed mine i came up w/ a "better" way.....it was simple as pie too
just crimp and/or solder some flat things on the ends of all 3 wires...i dont know the technical name obviously but use anything that can slide into the ALDL and FUSE slots....
and thats it....plug the power into any open slot in the FUSEBOX labeled IGN, and i used the ALDL ground and obviosly the ALDL orange wire slot.....now i can just pop out the 3 plugs and hook it up in any other car in minutes while retaining all hidden wires and no plug in my cig lighter
