Alternator

I'm looking to install a new alternator fo my 87GN. I want to put in a new Chrome one. I recently saw a similar post and someone posted a website, I think I erased it! oops.
What do you guys suggest? what amperage do I need?
Do they all just bolt right in?

Get 140 amps

Summit Racing now sells Powermaster chrome alternators that fit our cars including higher amperage models..

That's one alternative..

You could also get a stock one from Kirban's

You could also get yours rebuilt and then just chrome the casing.

Someone on turbobuicks is selling chrome kits for $80...

Kirbans chrome alternators are show quality...had it tested and it was cranking out 140 amps...
