Another 9 second 109

nice back to back 9.9's Kevin. Glad to see all the hard work has paid off.;) Too Bad you and John couldnt have ran a Grudge race!!!

Congrats Kevin.
Keep up the good work. Looks like Columbus is going to be full of 9 second cars in TSM.

Thanks guys. I can't wait for C-bus. Tom and I are going to weld in my new anti -roll bar tomorrow, hope to get the 60's down a bit.

The 1/8th was 6.4 @ 109.5 if I recall, don't have the slip in front of me right now.

Congrats Buddy! I need that cam back when you get finished..lol
Only if you give me the specs to your ultra secret grind;)

Went to the track tonight to make sure everything was good. Almost put the car into the wall a few times:eek: Junk track!!

Anyways, I managed one full run: 9.965 @ 136.8. Best so far. After this run, I loaded it backup instead of risking breaking something before BPG.

9.83 @ 138.5. Getting closer to my goal. I now have to make this car do a decent 60 foot;)

I'm not sure how to measure that.

You can put a boost gauge/source in your collector.
Install a one way check valve in the line so it keeps the peak reading.
As your turbo/specifically the turbine side maxes out you will have a
disproportional amount of back pressure in relation to boost.
For example if you are running 20psi boost and you are getting about
30psi of back pressure you are doing ok. If you raise the boost to 25psi
and the back pressure jumps to 40psi you are trying to outflow the exhaust side
of the turbo.

Jason Cramer has this check valve, and gauge on his car.

Great times Kevin! ;) What are your goals 9.70's?
My car should be back on the road tomorrow. Track times to follow.

I'll have to try that John, but I think my year is done....it's supposed to snow this week:frown:

Brent, I'd like to get 9.5's with what I got:cool: Good luck on getting your car back together.

Made a few more 9.8X passes today. Not a bad way to end the season...with a running car:D

Wore out slicks and a slick track prevented me from my 9.7's pass:(
Here's a pick from today:

Nice Job. What a great feeling it must be to run the car hard all year !!!!!!!!

Thanks Sam. I had a great year with the car. Now it's time for a few new modifications. I need a cage to keep the car from twisting up like a pretzel and keeping my butt safe;) Also need to work on the suspension.
