When I pulled my motor out there was a washer glued on to one of the freeze plugs. It says "Pioneer void if removed", I assume they rebuilt the motor. Lucky for me they used the turbo crank, mains 20 rods 10 and the fillets are still there. The pistons say "1156 P" on them, any idea what they are? I found it strange that the have a steel ring or sleeve molded into them going around the wrist pin area (on the inside of the piston). The rod bolts are stamped "SPS 135" and look like Speed Pro taperlok bolts. Can these bolts be used again?

Any help on this would be great.

Thanks guys.

Pioneer is a engine rebuilder company, like Jasper etc. I don't know anything about Pioneer. The rod bolts have been reused. SPS is the factory haed and rod bolts. Get new ARP's. head, rod and main bolts. The sleeve in the pistons are common in OE replacement pistons. It is for strength.
