Anyone ever widen their own Wheels

Really not in the mood to pay $375 per wheel and have to supply a usable core,so i got to thinking....

I could see where they might leak or the runout be off.
Fun to watch video, chuck it up on the lathe and show us how the wheel turned out.

Looks easy enough Just don't forget the most crucial step of the process shown at the 6:06 mark where he puts it on the ground stomps on it

Had mine widened at weldcraft wheel. I recall it was lot less expensive....
