So I go to install Kirban's rear seat brace kit the other day. I'm about to remove the bottom of the rear seat when I notice something blue stuck under the seat cushion on the passenger side. I pull it out and find this lovely pipe left by a previous owner:

Glad I haven't been pulled over since buying the car ;)

I love auto-archaeology... you never know what you are going to find when you start pulling back the layers.

That's not a pipe! It's a vintage manual boost controller. Better put it back where you found it or you'll overboost for sure. :ROFLMAO:

I bet one of the guys on this forum might recognize that and want it back.:LOL:Let's see who speaks up first.:shame:

I found a single serving wine bottle under my driver seat and the guy I bought it from was an alcoholic. Go figure.

Put it in the parts for sale section as a "Fogging Duct" ... see if you get any takers from CO maybe?

Hehe you guys are hilarious. It may fetch a good price if I say its a Kenne Bell model.

On my last mustang i was changing out the center consul and found a full dime bag. It was so old that it did not even smell like marijuana anymore.

Ive found plenty of porn mags in cars, bullets, knives, condems, rodents, dead snakes and snake skins, all kinds of change, jewelry, keys, kids toys, and plenty of french fries from McDonald's as well.

Found a pipe in an old VW Bus I bought once. I wasn't too surprised...

My son found a 22 derringer under the back seat of a car he bought ! We called the police ...... unregistered handgun in NY , minimum 1 year in the pokey .... No thank you !!!:D
I think they will be finding like new condition Mickey D's fries in Archaeological digs 2000 years from now !!

I found a charm bracelet buried under the back seat of my GN 15 years after I bought it. Pretty sure it was for the previous owner's daughter. It had a solid gold teddy bear on it. He didn't want it back, so I ended up giving it to my niece. When I sold my Porsche 924S, I was showing the new owner the storage compartments in the hatch back and there was a 12 pack of beer in there and I had no idea how long it was there. That was embarrassing as I was only 19 at the time. Turns out a friend got it for free and stowed it in there a year prior. Good thing I didn't get pulled over and get my car searched!! I threw it in the trash and my Dad found it later that day. He was really upset, but not that I had beer, but because I threw it out. I kept explaining that it was year old Keystone Light. It took me 30 minutes to convince him not to throw it in the fridge and try to drink it. My Dad is not an alcoholic. He is just the most frugal guy on the planet and was very disturbed at the fact that someone would throw away "good beer".

My car was a Canadian export, I found a Canadian postage stamp, Canadian coins, & a carshow dash plaque from a show in Winnipeg when I put my braces in.

Kinda cool.
