Balljoints question

Ok dumb question, but when you buy new balljoints do they come already packed with grease? I'm doing my 12" brake upgrade this weekend and I wanted to make sure because I don't know whether my dad has the right greasegun if I need to pack them. He's got a really old greasegun...

name brand ones are greased but house brands might have a little in them for shipping reasons, so they dont rust.

These are MOOG brand, so should I just try to grease them anyway?

you can just enough to swell the boot and not making any grease come out of the boot.
