Anyone running beadlocks on a street car or have your wheels converted by Champion? Did you have your set-up balanced and what is involved? Don't want something that is going to vibrate on the highway.

Thinking about having Champion beadlock my GTA rims and running a 295 MT Radial II.

I'm running weld 2.0 double beadlocks 15x10 rims with the 29.5 x 10.5 hoosier drag radial slicks with no problems had them balanced using magnetic weights . And my 8.50 build is driven on the street . :)

I know this is an old post, however you might try a set of balance beads (or get some bird shot and measure carefully for each tire) as this method works very well on Jeeps and other large tired vehicles. Just be sure and stay away from any form of fix-a-flat stuff though! This website will sell you a precisely measured amount of ceramic beads or like I had said, pick up some bird shot (for reloads) and measure you out a specific amount in each. Works great and it will balance even the worst of tires! Plus they stay balanced continuously (even if you sling a weight off). Anyways, just a thought!
