Hi folks,
please help a desperate guy...
here is a pic of how it looked like before changing the belt tensioner assembly. i left the old serp belt alone, because i get the new one these days.
clear case, the belt tensioner. it seems it was not! now, after the changing, - except the belt - it looks like the same. the pulleys knock very hard when the engine is running. i put it off immediately.
now, could it be, the belt is too long? but i didn't do anything to the belt. last year there was no problem at all! but now, the pulleys are so close to another.
this belt is a 65 incher, i ordered a gatorback 63,5 incher. will this be the cure?
