best way to ship ATR single shot

anyone out there know the best and cheapest way to ship a ATR exhuast from KY to CA.
I keep coming up $265 with UPS. Is this correct? thanks

I would check with Fed Ex. I shipped a trans to Texas and it was $150. First time user and they give you a big discount.I dont know if they still do it but I would check

I just went through this and you have to get a box 50x12x12 or something close and it will fit perfect only cost $60 to ship. Also my buddy just sold one it shipped for $40. Its about 35-40lbs.

it needs to be taken apart. should be around $60

it is taken apart. what company did you ship it through? where did you get a box.

Im shipping with ups. I got the box from work but you should be able to get one close to that size at ups store or any business that recycle there boxes for free.

FedEx and sometimes you have to dumpster dive to get them behind places that sell big stuff. Also make sure it's double wall

Go the the car dealer/ or an auto body place they have large boxes they usually throw out.
