BstC & stock orifice "Y"

Is the BstC (Boost Command) designed to be used with the stock "Y" fitting with the orifice?

I don't seem to be getting much range out of my BstC...even with the dual solenoids. TA49 turbo w/ ported WG hole....TurboMike ported stock elbow w/ larger puck, and 2.75" ATR downpipe, Hooker cat-back w/ test pipe.

Hmmmm....

I've got something wrong. Just can't figure it out. Can't hear any big exhaust leaks, but I did recently have the crossover pipe off to change the rear main seal.

My min to max on the BstC was only 13-15 psi ?!?! I put a few more turns on the wastegate rod and checked it with a mityvac. Minimum boost should be around 17 psi now. I'll take it for a test drive and see what happens.

Just got back from the test drive. 15-16 psi max...no change with the BstC knob.

Sounded kinda strange.....back to the garage....poking around under the hood.

Do you think leaving the turbo outlet hose clamp loose would make it run funny....DUH!!!!

I'm suprised my idle BLM's were as close to 128 as they were.

Not enough time tonight to make another test drive, but I think I found the problem.
