bump steer sucks

feels like I'm frozen in time going over a bump
and i live in the city :(

lose total control whats the best cost effective way to fit this......
 
I dont like corvettes , its like trying to get in and out of a rollercoaster ride. to tight to low yuck!

Welp, then you're stuck messing with the steering knuckles on your spindles.
 
Check the Monte SS site. They have been working with ball joint swaps to make changes in the front suspension.

Makes the spindle appear taller and reduces the amount of camber induced by wheel moving over bumps.

Lowers the lower control arm at the spindle and brings the arm more in line with the tie rod.

Both of those help with your bump steer issue.
 
You can get 3/8" longer ball joints for 71-76 Impala's which can be used (with some modifications) on G-Body front A-arms. These will reduce the bump-steer and will reduce the camber gain in bump.

You will need to do a lot of home work to get this setup correct.

And a lot of that homework is being done by the Monte guys right now. Complete kits are just about to be offered for the G bodies to mount into the stock control arms.
