Hello All;
Been a long time since I've travled these parts... I'm actually trying to get my 87 GN back going, lost interest in racing it but would like to drive it.

Its a basic 87 GN with a cam, TE62, ATR front mount, trans/converter...

The car has a Max Effort R chip installed currently, what I'm looking to do is go MAF/MAF translator just so I can drive the car, I was thinking an LS1 MAF(since I have access to plenty of those...) and a regular translator... what else would I need other then a chip? (ala TurboTweak)

That's it assuming you have a Scan master(scantool) which you'll need.

A Caspers volt booster is always a good idea to give your fuel pump max flow at WOT by supplying extra voltage. But you can get by on just what you've listed. I moved from a ME-R to MAF also, no regrets.
