Cleaning the T rims

So I finally decided to put some effort to my oxidized T rims. Still a work in progress. I'm using mothers aluminum polish and Adams metal polish. Here is a rim I'm working on and one that hasn't been touched.

Mine are a little worse than the one you have pictured. Maybe I'll try some polish on mine and see what happens. Looks good though

While polishing the "polished machined area" what are you using to clean the corrosion off from wheel weights? I don't really need to refinish mine, just give them a good one over to make them look good. I could use some tips because I'm gonna start this soon for a cheap winter project:biggrin:

Not sure yet. This is my rookie wheel project. Hardest part is the big outside edge. The ribs seem easier.
