Computer problem

Hi

When I click on an Icon, nothing happens. No error....nothing. When I click on the start...programs and select a program still nothing happens. No error code...nada. If I select Start, run and type in the whole path example "c:\program\program.exe" the program will run. I have swaped out identical removable hard drives and the samething happens to all 3 hard drives. This is a Windows 2000 os. I appreciate any help.

See if you can get into your "mouse settings".
Test your clicking, or double clicking there.
Could be a config issue, or a connection issue (bad mouse).
Mabey even try swapping mouse from another computer?
