copper exhaust gaskets

just pulled my headers off today and was wondering if you can reuse copper gaskets. they got about 3000 miles on them.

As long as they aren't all mashed up. That's part of why copper's nice- it's reusable. Some will tell you not to run gaskets on the exhaust though. Oh yeah- if you do use them: check the header bolts after you run it for awhile. The copper crushes, and they can loosen up some.

No idea, they were on the car when I bought it. So, actually they could have been used many more times than 5!!!

Fel-pro 1400's here, on and off at least 5 times, and still no leaks.
