Car wiring sucks!

I started the car the other morning on the way to work. I noticed that when i tapped the gas it sounded like a cricket chirp. On light throttle i also noticed a whistle sound that isnt the turbo. Coming from somewhere near the plenum. I assume vac leak but the car runs smooth and REALLY well. At idle vac is around 12-13. If this was a vac leak wouldnt the car fall on its face? Is there a vac area that wouldnt affect performance before i start ripping the plenum off and resealing everything. Thanks for any info.

Check the throttle shaft seals on the throttle body, mine was leaking there. I couldn't find anyone who had the seals, so I used o-rings instead and it's still working fine for over a year.
