My cruise went out. I have checked all wiring fuses and vacuum hoses. Any one know what usually goes out first?

I just fixed mine--by using the kent-Moore cruise tool and verifying it was a bad connection at the turn signal/ cruise switch stalk. The tool showed nothing was on when cruise was activated--it led me to try moving the wires at the column. All the various test lamps turned on via the tester telling me I had power at the servo and the switch now. The servo will be dead and no power when this occurs. The brake switch is commonly out of adjustment especially if the powermaster has been swapped. A lot of guys start replacing the servo then the cruise module up by the gas pedal and still have no cruise. Ck the switch wiring on the stalk. It is common for the wires to get chaffed. It will save you a bunch of $$$ instead. Hope that helps. Dp.
