Why is the dash brake light comming on when I press the brakes? It is the light associated with the emergency brakes. If I press the brake pedal it comes on for less than a second even if I hold the pedal down longer. My fluid is full, the pedal seems relatively firm, the emergency brake is completely depressed and my pads are in ok shape. What gives?

Generally speaking, problems with the mysterious and expensive POWERMASTER.

They work fine now, but they won't. That light starts coming on long before the failure condition gets bad, but once that light is coming on, it could go any any moment without warning.
You need to check the accumulator ball and the pressure switch. The light comes on when there's a pressure problem, usually not enough. That usually means a leak.
