My local body shop guy charges $500 per panel to paint the car. That would be stripping it down to bare metal, bondo on the hail dings, PPG paint, wet sand and buff. So $1500 to do the trunk, roof and hood. Then you don't have an extra hood and trunk laying around taking up room.
