I have a Gordon Setter and a Border Collie (mixed with crazy). I had never heard of a Gordon Setter before I read the add in the paper. Pretty rare, but, dang.......she is smart as they come. Very cool dog.
The border collie and I did not get along at first. She tore the hell out of my house the first time we left her alone. I mean...........she chewed up two cameras, a Costco size package of toilet paper, a TV remote, clothes, shoes, a huge potted plant, and a brand new in the box hair dryer my wife had bought for her business. Yep......I about shot her.
Now............she sleeps with her nose in my ear, and my Gordie Girl on my hip.
The older I get...........the more people I meet............the MORE I love my dogs. You could rob a bank and crash into a school bus and your dogs will LOVE you when you get home. LOL.
Lock your wife and your dog in the trunk of your car and go tearing through a gated community with speed bumps for a half hour................open the trunk and see who is happy to see you! LOL.

It's a great thing, at least to me, that you love this dog so much.....you are a true appreciator of a gift from God Himself.....so nice to read this about you. This world is so full of hate, crime, cruelty, etc. and it's heartening to know there are guys like you who loves animals the way you do......I'm so thankful for people like you.........you are, without a doubt, one hell of a good man.
