:( OK now what??? should i do an 86-87 conversion?? and how hard is it to get the parts ..and prices. I Heard getting an 86-86 MAF was somewhat difficult and i saw in gnttype.org a guy running and LS1 MAF would i be able to do that also??

definitely change to the later style coilpack/module.you can get them in the parts for sale section on this board from john(red regal t)he tests them and guarantees them to be good.

you can either re-wire it yourself or you can buy the casper's adapter(easiest way).

also,if you change to an 87 ecm(also easy)you can buy a translator+ and run an lt1 or ls1 maf sensor.

thanks fot the info....would the Ls1 MAF still work with a relatively stock turbo ...i was told it would only work properly with big turbo's ...

and where can i get the casper's adapter from??

Great so ill look into giving it a try....one last question which one is cheaper the ls1 /lt1 MAF or the 86/87 MAF??

lt1/ls1 mafs are pretty cheap,$75-100.you will need to buy the translator box and upgrade to the 87 ecm/chip.
