apparently the People's Spindle Factory #43 has a different set of tolerances than People's Bearing Factory #75...
this is what happens when tolerances "stack up".. you get a bearing that is on the low side of the tolerance range and try to put it on a spindle that was made to the high side of the range, and things don't fit together. if it's just a matter of a couple of thousandths, then you can take some 100 or so grit emery cloth, wrap it around the spindle, and keep twisting it around it until the bearing slides on, making sure to clean the spindle and bearing with brake cleaner when you are done and repacking the bearing before final install.. but keep in mind that you might wind up with a bearing that fits loose if you ever need to replace that bearing (and you will need to replace it if you got the $1.99 cheapies at the parts store).
