Gas is $2.78 tonight....

Here in Southern NM it is only a dime cheaper than regular gas. What a joke! How do they expect to sell the stuff when overall it will cost more to run it than regular unleaded fuel. Still cheaper than unleaded race gas though.

Portales, New Mexico has an ethanol plant, although I'm unsure if it is running or not due to market conditions.

Damn it's cheap in the US. Here in Montreal it's jerking around at $4.00 a gallon.

Don't be confused - they just probably had a bad contract on their E85, and gasoline came down too fast on them.

In southern Minnesota - the spread is usually 50 to 70 cents from E85 to 87 octane.
