Frankenmotor autopsy

I, don't nitride virgin cranks, Only when they are turned & the hardness is removed have I had a problem with bearing life. The broken crank was a result of many of thousands of mile of abuse. The head were shot also, springs were dead , seats pounded, loose valve guides & worn valve stems. Chicken very graciously is letting me have them. Bless his generous heart !

Was glad to give you those ported OE heads Lou (had to be careful how I wrote that...it could have gone very wrong...)...
For a set of used heads off your shelf, they topped off the Frankenmotor nicely and served me well...and now that they've lived on the chicken coop, they gotta be worth double what they were even brand new (it's a name branding sort of effect) so it's my way of giving back to Papa Lou for all the great service and stuff done to the coop these last few years.
