Has anyone every did the s10 front bearing conversion so you can run knock off rotors?

Several members have done it and there are several threads about it. I even came up with a bracket that allows you to use 4th gen F body 12" rotors, but you have to have at least a 16" rim to use it.

There's a sticky at the top of this section which has brake and suspension upgrade links in it. That will give you the best idea of what you can do, including an inexpensive rear disc upgrade you can get in a junk yard really cheap.
