Fuel gauge?

Hi, When runnnig a hood mounted fuel gauge do you bleed the line at the back of the gauge to get the air out? I could not find any info on a search. Thanks

i didnt have to bleed mine when i taped it to the windshield, just turn the key on/off/on/off few times till u get the old fuel press lbs and your off....i think

I have a kenne bell hood mounted, and I can't ever remember bleeding it.... like betty said.... a couple prime cycles and it springs to life...
