Anybody have problems idling with 850CC injectors low impedance (~83#)?

Also, what is the typical fuel pressure you guys are running? (@ idle)

I'm running 90 psi @ idle...with 1:1 increase according to boost...so about 115 at 25psi boost...I'm afraid something's gonna pop off and set my car on fire or get a ****ty spray pattern at such high PSI and blow engine...but untill I upgrade to my 850CCs, (running 550CCs (right now 55#)) I need it at that fuel pressure.

Anyway, any info would be great.

90 WHAT!!!

90 psi static?? You either have a bad gauge, or very good luck!
The 83# injectors should be seeing a base psi of somewhere in the low 40psi area.
You don't say what engine you have these in, but I'm surprized it'll even start, much less idle...
I'm even more surprized that you haven't had a pump problem.. What pump are you using??

More info and check w/ a known good gauge is a good start.

My faster car has 84# injectors. It idles at 850rpm smoothly at 43psi fuel pressure. Most of our cars are in the 40-45psi range. In fact, I don't even use an adjustable regulator anymore, just a Bosch -237.

What kind of car are you tuning?
