I want to install one of Kirbans fuel pressure gaudges that connnect directly to the schrader valve.
Is the fuel rail always pressurized? Will I leak fuel when i install it? Do I need to do anything special for the install?

Thanks again guys!

The rail may or may not be press. depending on how long the car has been turned off.

You need a valve stem removal tool to get the thingy out of the end of the rail

I have a Metco gauge and I installed a 90* elbow so it would face str8 up. Otherwise it would have been pointing forward

A little Teflon tape for the threads...

really not a great idea......vibration plus gauge quality will render readings useless in short time

a better way is put the gauge on the end of a piece of braided fuel line long enough to reach the windshield...that way you take the vibration off the gauge, and you have a useful tool for tuning

Wow! I want one of those. What’s it for again? Nah man, I'm just messing with ya.

Like BB87 said, teflon is all you need.

..........and it's spelled "gauge". :D
