I finally got rid of the embarassing smoking problem I've been dealing with for awhile when at idle. I ditched the PCV valve for one thing and then I replaced the O2 sensor and the problem is solved.
I suspect I was getting some oil from the pcv valve and the O2 should be helping with the mixture I think, since it has seen a lot of race gas. The TT chip is supposed to be open loop at idle but apparently it does take a reading from the O2 at some point while you're driving.
There's been too much rain so I haven't tested the Casper's CCCI hotwire installation yet.
