How do those running fiberglass bumpers hook grill srings up?pics please

I had to drill a hole to hook the spring to.

hello people; I got rid of the spring years ago. I just bent up a little alum. flat stock and rigged it up some way. I forget. But now I don't know if it was the best thing to do?

Interesting, I need to redo my springs as the ones I put on are too strong. A bent alum piece would be perfect since it could create a clean gap between the grill and touching the top of the bumper.

X2, thats what I had to do to hook the grill springs to the bumper.
