I just discovered that my two trans hardlines are damaged. One is torn open and the other is crushed. Both at the same bend. Could have happened when engine was pulled.

Anyway, is there a fix for this? (Some sort of coupler?) Never had to worry about this so I'm not sure.

Suggestions?

I buy new steel tubing from any parts store in 5/16" diameter, 60" length and bend, cut, reflare to fit.

$20 for new lines.

I have had good luck with 5/16" brake lines and double flare tubing
couplers. They cost a little more, but not everyone can master the
art of double flaring steel tubing.:(

Its not hard at all, just dont try to run them home the first time. I like to be gental with them and take my time.;)
