After pulling the valve covers and checking around the head near the exhaust, I noticed that my head bolts have "KXV" on the center. I was going to install a set of ARP later (which I know have ARP on them), but what are "KXV" ?? I believe the stock head bolts are marked "SPS". So I don't believe these are stock.

Anyone have a clue?

Thanks,
Brandon

Hummmm...My head bolts are marked SPS too on my "mystery LC2". Can anyone confirm the stock bolt markings?

TIA - Jimmy

SPS are the stock torque to yield head bolts. SPS are also used on the rods (very high quaility rod bolts).

They may be stock TTY bolts. Not all bolts have the SPS markings. Have you pulled one off to see if it looks like a TTY style bolt? If I'm not mistaken those are manufacturers ID markings.
