How much horse power and torqe do the 4.1 liter blocks in a hot air put out?

There was never a factory turbo 4.1.

I could've made all the power I wanted with the 3.8 but with the 4.1, spoolup with a big turbo is much, much better and there's a little more off boost torque. Basically I did it for drivability and since I was rebuilding anyway it didn't cost any extra. NA I believe the 4.1 made ~20hp more if I remember right. I will never go back to the 3.8 for a street car.

Motor

My friends father has a 1984 Buick GN with a 4.1 litre block in it.The motor went so he rebuilt it and put the 4.1 block in it.

depends on what all was done to it, kind of hard to guesstimate. cam, heads, turbo, intake, exhaust, chip, fuel pressure, etc. It all adds up. ;)

pretty much impossible to nail down exact numbers, totally subjective. suffice it to say that the torque increase would be roughly proportional to the percent increase in displacement.

What are the real rating for Torqe and horsepower for the hot air motors?

I heard like 230 HP and 300 ft lbs or torque.
